He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Tinney and Mildred Moore Tinney; his sisters, Kathryn, Maxine and Patricia; his grandfather Castle; and his grandson Jonathan Tinney.
He is survived by: his wife Pansy Castle Tinney; his children, Mike (Ginger) of Norman, Teresa (Dave) of Cordell and Pam (Reid) of Mangum; and his grandchildren, Tyson Bryant (Kristine Bryant) of Tulsa, Trinity Simmons of Edmond, Rachel Ackerman (Jared) of Oklahoma City and Daniel Tinney of Oklahoma City.
