We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2023, at the age of 75, Valerie Sue Shaw of Madill, Oklahoma, born in Lubbock, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bevers and Nellie Bevers; her siblings, Billie Bradley, Glenys Moore and Robert Bevers; and her nephew Benny Bevers.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Shaw; her children, John, Floyd Monroe Shaw, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kimberly Beard (Tim Beard) of Madill, Oklahoma and Martha Woodruff of Denison, Texas; her grandchildren, Kaycee Braksiek (Ben) of Durant, Oklahoma, John Dylan Shaw (Sidney), Jacob Dawson Shaw of Cherry Mound, Texas and Joshua Drew Shaw of Cherry Mound, Texas; her brother Ben Bevers (Joyce) of Reno; and also John Shepherd Shaw of Bells, Texas. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
As a cancer survivor, she participated in the American Cancer Relay for Life on multiple occasions.
