He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Alford Armitage and Mary Alice Curp Armitage; and his siblings, Richard, Bob and Cheryl Svec.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Armitage; his children, Kelly Blank (Rob), Ron Armitage Jr. and Michael Armitage (Colleen); his grandchildren, Jonathan Armitage, Jared King (Victoria), Hannah King, Adam Armitage, Payton Armitage, Lane Armitage, Cora Armitage, Henry Armitage, Landon Armitage and Reagan Armitage; and his sister Doris Etue.
