He was predeceased by: his parents, James Waymon Meeks and Willow Dean Webster Meeks; his wife Barbara Ann Lanton; his brother Gerald; his granddaughter Hannah; and his great grandchild Ivy.
He is survived by: his children, Regina Meeks, John Meeks, Teri Thomas (John) and Mark Meeks (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Larissa, Kayla, Kirsty, Kourtnee, Jessi of Lyndsey, JR., Zac, Sara, Mason, Magalie, Karter and Kennedy; and his great grandchildren, Julien, Mia, Lillian, Kinzleigh, Rylie, McKinlee, Kendyl, Liam, Maddox and Jackson.
