It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oteka Nell Minter Beasley of Madill, Oklahoma, born in Kingston, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Horace LeFlore and Hazel Everett LeFlore; her former husband Joseph "Joe" Oliver Minter IV; her husband Guy Nicholas "Nick" Beasley; her siblings, Lawana Jean Self, Sharon Freeman, Colin and Charles LeFlore; and also Jodie Minter.

She is survived by: her friend Doris Pate; her children, Ann Chapman (Willis) and Michael Minter (Jennifer Sharpe-Potter); her stepchildren, Robbin Rice, Nancy Beasley Pate and Nick Beasley; her daughter-in-law Vicky Minter; her grandchildren, Georgia Minter, Sarah Minter, Andrea Griffin, Christi Holder, Katy Smith, Richard Minter, Elizabeth Minter and Alexandria Beaver; her siblings, Paul LeFlore (Sandra) and Brenda Jones; and her sister-in-law Fern LeFlore.
