We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 83, Joyce Ann Thompson (Riverside, California), born in Stringtown, Oklahoma passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Richard and Goldie Lorene Garside (Jackson); her husband Larry Thompson; her brothers, Richard and J. E. Garside; her granddaughter Kellee Lansdale; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Garside, Peggy Garside and Donna Garside.
She is survived by: her children, Shawna Walker (Michael) of Garden Grove, CA, Michael Thompson (Eileen) of Pearl, MS and Jeffrey Thompson (Jolene) of Spokane, WA; and her siblings, Corkey Garside of Bakersfield, CA and Pam Garside of Worland, WY. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandson and numerous extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Enos Baptist Church (12223 Snell Rd, Kingston, OK 73439). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518).
