He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Mayo and Betty Ann Williams Mayo; and his brothers, Willaim and Burney. He is survived by: his wife Robin Lyn Mayo; his nephew Jackson Anthony Penn Turner; his sister-in-law Stephanie Henington (Charlie); and his nieces and nephews, Michael Lee Wyszynski, Anna Henington, Charlie Henington, Stephanie Marie Lee, Laura Lee Perkins, Margaret Patton and Philip Patton.
