He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Perry Pickens and Chrystene Elizabeth Mayo Pickens; and his grandmother Inez Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Tawana Sue Pickens; his sister Paula Kay Uzzel (Terry); his siblings-in-law, Jana Hamilton (Don) and James Sprouse; and his nieces and nephews, Bethany Mancini (Michael) and Allison Groeber (Greg).
