He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Elwood Tweedy and Nettie Margaret Tweedy (Barrett); and his sister Ila Davis. He is survived by: his children, Charles Tweedy of Gales Ferry, Connecticut and Melissa Tweedy of Madill, OK; and his siblings, Curtis Wayne Tweedy of Connerville, OK, Elizabeth Segura of Tishomingo, OK, Glenna West of Tishomingo, OK and Katherine Spillers of Ardmore, OK. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Madill Wrestling Team for Katilynn Tweedy.
