It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Gene Mitchell Jr. of Madill, Oklahoma, born in Wewoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Gene Mitchell, Sr. and Dorothy Mitchell (Styles); and his sons, Jason Ornelas and Anthony Ornelas. He is survived by: his wife Tara Mitchell of Madill, Oklahoma; his daughter Renee Ornelas-Salas (Jose); his grandchildren, Nico Ornelas-Salas of Las Vegas, Sophia Ornelas-Salas of Las Vegas, David Ornelas of Reno, Bella Ornelas of Spring Creek, Angel Ornelas of Enos, Jesse Ornelas of Kingston, Lina Salas of Las Vegas, Joey Salas of Las Vegas and Jessica Salas of Albuquerque; his great grandchildren, Kaden Tyler, Leah Ornelas and Bryleigh Ornelas; and his brother-in-law Lee Gilliland. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
