He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Carpenter and Imogene Carpenter (Hinton). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carpenter (Kemp) of Luther; his children, Brian Carpenter (April) of Luther, Stephanie Carpenter (Dan) of Oklahoma City and Chad Dunegan; his grandchildren, Zachary Carpenter, Brooklyn Carpenter and Kyndal Whitten; and his siblings, Rick Carpenter of Auburndale and Pam Sultzman of Davenport. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
