He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Turpen (Carr); his daughter Nita Gardenhire; and his grandsons, Jimmie Smith and Bobby Fink. He is survived by: his children, Reba Flinn, Lita Salazar (Frank), Neva Dunegan (Rocky), Lisa Maldonado (Rick), Gayal Edwards (Ray), Mike Turpen (Melissa) and Jimmy Turpen (Buddy). He is also survived by thirty eight grandchildren, fifty two great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many many loved ones and friends.
