It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Pope of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Faris Eugene Pope and Wilma Kathryn Pope (Burnett); his siblings, Larry Eugene Pope and Patricia Pope; his uncle Paul Pope; and his aunt Evelyn Glasscock.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sue Merritt of Lone Wolf and Joy Pope of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.; his nieces, Kellie Whitefield (Jeremy) of Moore, Keri Snyder (James) of Moore, Sandra Satnes of Lone Wolf, Carissa Teague of Oklahoma City, Dawn Nichols of Oklahoma City and Katie Pope; his nephew George Tedford Jr. (Amanda) of Oklahoma City; and his uncle Jack Burnett of Lone Wolf. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
