He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Boone and Martha Pearl Suggs Dobbs; his former wife Rosetta Diemer; and his brother Dewan Dobbs. He is survived by: his wife Neta Faye Carter Cargel; his children, Janet Gilley (David) and Donald Dobbs (Donna); his grandchildren, Jennifer Brown, Chris Dobbs (Kara), Sarah Gibbs (James), Grady Dobbs and Jamie Wallace (Brent); and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Brianna, Samantha, Jocelyn, Maddison and Zaylie.
He worked for the Noble Foundation as their Livestock Specialist until his retirement after 34 years.
