He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Dwayne and Florence Jewel Nutter (Ingram); and his brother Richard Nutter. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Harold Nutter (Lisa) of Locust Grove, David Nutter (Cynthia) of Ridgefield, Tonya Nutter-May (Joseph) of Palmyra and Vic Nutter of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Scott Cooper, Barrnie "Deuce" Cooper II, Kaleigh Nutter, Gabrielle Pippin, Rhys Nutter, Cody Nutter and Quincie Matera; his great grandchildren, Landon, Caysen, Mckinlee and Gwendolyn; and his sister Janelle Buckskin of Locust Grove, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
