She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gillum and Storabell Lee Gillum (Kendrick); her husband James Buford Curtis; her siblings, Ernest Gillum, Darrell Gillum and Beverly Hays; and her grandchildren, Sara Beth Henington, Allison Jewel Henington and Jeremy Scott Curtis.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Wendt (Bill) of Pryor, OK, Loretta Curtis of Locust Grove, OK, James Curtis (Dawnya) of Locust Grove, OK, Tina Anderson (Tracy) of Claremore, OK and Mark Curtis (Shelly) of Red Oak, OK; her grandchildren, Ronnie Laughlin, Kevin Laughlin, Elizabeth Payne, Eva McClain, James Curtis II, Amber Curtis, Donnie Curtis, Whitney Campbell, Cearra Curtis, Aaron and Michael; and her siblings, Dexter Gillum (Marilyn) of Tahlequah, OK and Brenda Davis of California. She is also survived by Numerous great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Locust Grove Funeral Home (608 Joe Koelsch Dr, Locust Grove, OK 74352). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Iron Post Free Holiness Church (E0590 Rd. Locust Grove).
