It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Standingwater (Locust Grove, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Standingwater and Watson Hair; and his half-sister Ruthie Jones of Inola, Oklahoma. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Pegion Condit; and his children, Bob Standingwater (Roberta) of LaPorte, DeWayne Standingwater of Bellaire, Susie Johnson of Springville, Mickey Vernon of Riverside and Dena Carol Standingwater-Hill (Willie) of Pasadena, Texas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, at least 34 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchild.
