With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Elmo Owens in Lindsay, Oklahoma, born in Stephenville, Texas, who passed away on December 2, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Owens and Ora Eliza Owens (Griffin); and his siblings, Lonnie Owens, Wayman Owens (Nancy), Jean Trice (Bob) and Flora Britt (John).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Owens; his daughters, Alissa Miller (Russell) of Foster and Stacy Roady (Michael) of Foster; his grandchildren, Grant Coles (Kimberly) of Overland Park, Brock Roady of Foster, Cory Miller of Purcell, Nicholas Miller (Lindsay) of Purcell, Hunter Walker (Tessa) of Tussy, Langston and Tracker Walker of Pernell, Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Owen Coles, Bryson, Bentley Miller, Peyton, Paislee and Lucas Miller; his sister-in-law Mary Owens of Foster, Oklahoma; and his sisters, Gail (Doyle Davis) and Quala (Kenny Chism). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wooster Funeral Home and Cremation Services (105 Main St, Elmore City, OK 73433). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Elmore City First Baptist Church (107 S Texas St, Elmore City, OK 73433).
