She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Bruce and Hallie Dean Flaniken; her husband Nathan; her daughter Linda Gayle Green; her siblings, Robert Bruce Flaniken and Erleen Martin; her daughter Brenda Bonnelly Tankersley; her grandchildren, Jean-Paul Bonnelly (Magdalena) and Virginia Willemin (Eric); her great grandchildren, Teggun David Willemim, Nathan Eric Willemin and Guilianna Marian Bonnelly; and her close friends, Debby, Chris and MacKenzie Bonny. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces.
In lieu of flowers, Virginia has asked memorial donations be made to her grandson's passion of rescuing abandoned dogs and animals in Afghanistan.
