He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Ola Herring (Willis) and Willie Sherwood Herring; his wife Juanita; his brothers, Dale Herring (Bobbie) of Lindsay and Billie Herring of Wichita, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy and Lou Gray.
He is survived by: his daughter Rita Herring of Blanchard; his sister Marie Parkinson of Jensen Beach, FL; and his close friend Ardith Stinnett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
