She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Butler Turpin and Phoebe Palmer Turpin; her husband John D. Mitchell of Sherman; her children, Phillip Mitchell, Leslie Mitchell, Maureen Mitchell and Margaret Montague; and her grandson Brian J. Mitchell.
She is survived by: her son John D. Mitchell, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Barbara; her daughter Gloria M. Miller; and her son-in-law Ted. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
