With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loyd Akins of Lindsay, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 25, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Akins and Zola Akins (Courtney); his wife Carolyn Akins; and his granddaughter Amy Barnes. He is survived by: his grandson Steve Akins; his children, Kyle, Kris Akins, Deborah and Phillip English; his grandchildren, Crystal, Quent English, Laura and Bruce Frye; his great grandchildren, Dustin, Heath Frye, Elaine and Mitch Gilreath; and also, Miranda Ellefson, Trent Gilreath, Brenda, R. D. Patterson and Austin Hall. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and many other friends.
