She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Finis Moody and Sarah Marguerite Moody (Brewer); and her husband Sherrill Joe Kennedy of Elmore City. She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Ann (Chris Apel) and Kristi Jo (Kristi Herd); her grandchildren, Sarah (Herd), Chase Bardwell, Carlee (Apel), Garrett Reynolds, Cole Apel, Anna (Herd), Connor Williams and Channing Apel; her brother Willard Moody (Donna); her nephews, Bobby Moody and Joe Wayne Moody; and also Tracey Shorter (Sapsworth).

She loved attending Wesley Foundation and was a state officer.
