She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Edward Hanley and Gertrude Hanley; and her siblings, Mable (Kenneth Hatfield), Lorene Hanley, Arnold (Ellen Howell), Dave (Mary Ruth Tugman), John (Bessie Hanley), W. J. (Jimmie Lee) and R. E. (JoAnne Hanley).
She is survived by: her children, Mable, Lorene, Ellen, Mary Ruth, John, Jimmie and Rufus Edward Jr. (R. E.); her husband Manuel Scruggs; her children, Dwayne, Lynn, Brent and Gay; her great grandchildren, Rob, Tracy Noerper, Ian, Christian, Corey Scruggs Tommy Spencer, Colton, Brandi, Dillon, Heather, Kendyl, Gentri, Weslyn, Cooper, Sophia, Sadie of Ty Spencer, JT, Meadow, J. D., Markie Scruggs, Aiden, Aleah, Tim, Melanie Haworth, Lovie Reggie, Candace Bridgman, Eva, Caiden Arzell and Hannah; and her daughter Marietta Scruggs Spencer. She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
