She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Ivy and Dovie Ivy (Johnson); her husband Lester Carter; her daughter Sheila Bozarth; her sister Mamie Andrews; and her grandson Curtis Work.
She is survived by: her children, Hank Carter of Lindsay, Marcia (Dennis Pratt), Lesley (Don McNutt) and Regina (Tony Lewis); and her sister Lenora (Allen Wilson). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
