It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Christine Brooksher (Lindsay, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayburn Palmer and Alta Mae Palmer (Dozier); her husband Roy Brooksher; her son Roy Brooksher Jr.; and her siblings, Marie Kirby (Kenneth), William Palmer (Edna Earle) and Jesse Palmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Tobey (Frank); her daughter-in-law Julie Brooksher; her grandchildren, James, Terri Tobey, April, Travis Lagaly, Amber, Neal Johnson, Angela Tobey, Christy, Matt Inouye, Steven and Jesse Brooksher; her great-grandkids, Maddison, Scotty Brasher, Macey, Dakota Harper, Samantha Lagaly, Grant Lagaly, Andy Newton, Noah Newton, Jenna Tobey, Natalie, Bryce Strang, Nicole Johnson, Makenna Johnson, Maddux Inouye, Brooklyn Inouye, Reagan Inouye and JD Brooksher; and her great-great-grandkids, Harrison Brasher, Shepard Brasher, CJ Newton and Casey Strang.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilbourn Family Funeral Home (308 SW 3rd St, Lindsay, OK 73052).
