Lillian Miriam (Maki) Lewis Obituary
Lillian Miriam Lewis, a resident of Lexington, Oklahoma entered heaven on Friday, December 11, 2020. She reunited with her loving husband, George Carter Lewis, her son Don Lee Lewis and her Two daughters, Patricia Ann (Lewis) Canseco and Betty Jean (Lewis) Morey. Mom was a tugh cookie with a loving heart who survived 92 years. Mom loved the saying "See you later alligator", which was a special thing between her and her granddaughter, Lori Cleary. She leaves her three sons Norman Caroll Lewis of Cottonwood Arizona, Buddy Lee Lewis of Alta Loma, California, Paul Lawrence Lewis of Phoenix, Arizona and a daughter Sandra Diane Lewis Martinez of Lexington, Oklahoma and a sister Sylvia Maki of Pasadena, California. Lillian was blessed with 26 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 14 great, great grandchildren. Lillian was born June 3, 1928 at 7:00 a.m. in Elo, Michigan a neighborhood in Portage Township, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late John Maki and Elina Tamminen, both born in Finland.
Mom will truly be missed. Our farewell is a final " After a while crocodile," until we meet again.
Lillian Miriam (Maki) Lewis will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Funeral Home and Memorial in Whitter, California next to her husband George C. Lewis.
