He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bray and Ella Bray (Sims); his wife Edith Bray; his siblings, Lillie Oliver, Lucille Sloan, Delia Sloan, Marie Bethell, Imogene Orman, Ervin, Melvin, Lendo and Norman "Red" Bray; his grandsons, Norman Bray and Mitchell Ary; and his great grandchild Chasen Branam.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Bray of Checotah, Kevin (Janie Bray) of Eufaula, Timmy (Dee Bray) and James (Del Bray); his grandchildren, Brandy, Kelly, Stephanie, Calvin, Todd, Crystal, Nick, Ashley and Lannie; and his siblings, J. R. (Shirley Bray) of Stigler and Essie Stiles (Robert) of Tamaha. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
