She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Thomas Egan and Ruth W. Larimore (Combs); her husband Bobby Charles Carter Sr.; her son Ronny Gene Carter; and her grandchildren, Shaw O'Riley Carter and Kristy Lynn Tatum.
She is survived by: her son Bobby (Ella Carter); her grandchildren, Debra and Mike Wilhelm; her great grandchild Ronnie (Donna Carter); and also, Shelia, Robert Mutchler and Ricky Carter. She is also survived by his 3 children along with 56 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
