He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elias and Cora Pearl Kennedy (Patterson); his wife Floy Kennedy (Waits); his stepdaughter Mary Elizabeth Bowen LeGrand; and his sons-in-law, William Tatum and James McLean.
He is survived by: his children, James David, Candida Kennedy of San Jancito, CA, Keith, Sally Kennedy of Enon, OH, Marjorie Kennedy of Geronimo, OK and Priscilla McLean of Burkburnett, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Bennett and Judie Waits. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews; and other loving family members.
