We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2018, at the age of 93, Virginia L. Mathews (Lawton, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Nitzel and Ola Nitzel; her husband Guy D. Mathews; her brothers, Kenneth Nitzel, Edward Nitzel and Fred Nitzel; and her half-brothers, Jerry Peters and Mike Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Larry S. Mathews of Del City, OK and Kay; her grandchildren, Flo E. Gunderson, Mike of Kellog, Bobbie Gibson, Nick of Cataldo, Larry Steve Mathews, Jr. of Pinehurst, Nita Lauren Layman and Randy; her great grandchildren, Richard Broaddus, Nicholas Gibson, Connie, Janee Feldewerth, Craig, Kandis Caldwell, Kevin, Misty Martin, Joshua Layman and Rachel; her brother Bill Nitzel of Washington State; her sister-in-law Vina Nitzel of Billings, MT.; and also Jean of Washington State.
