He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bernard and Vera Ardell Jones; his wife Polly Jo Cunningham; his son Jeremy Steven Cunningham; and his siblings, Mary Guzman, David Anthony Cunningham, Dennis Paul Cunningham, Buddy Cunningham, John "Mick" Cunningham and Greg Cunningham.
He is survived by: his son Jesse Cunningham; and his sisters, Jeanie Nix, Patricia Shaser, Annette Rhodes and Millie Cunningham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
