Stephen H. Barber Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2024, Stephen H. Barber (Lawton, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Stephen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stephen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret G. Barber; his parents, George W. Barber and Phyllis M. Barber (Lyons); his daughter Denise Barber; and also, F. Murray Gilbert, B. Ann Gilbert (Japp) and James Gilbert (Jimmy).

He is survived by: his sisters, Teri Karrer (Gary) and Dr. Elizabeth King (Mike Raffetto); and also, G. T. Barber, Kathryn B. Hesskew and Scott Barber. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
