He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilio Haughton and Gladys Mae McPherson (Haughton); his siblings, Carlos and Elvelia; and his granddaughter Daija Jones.
He is survived by: his son Silvestre Haughton, Jr. (Felisha); his wife Henrietta Brown Haughton; his daughter Felicia Haughton; his sisters, Elvira Haughton, Selma Haughton, Yolanda Haughton, Elvia Haughton and Elizabeth Haughton; his sister-in-law Cynthia Sanders (Davis); his brothers, Cecilio Haughton (Carla) and Alberto Haughton (Karla); his grandchildren, Charles, Raquell, Ronell, Sante'l, Se'mone, Jacob, Jeremiah, Malik and Nyesha; and his great grandchildren, Averiana, Cianna, George Jr., Ari, Ka'mani, Kendrick, Ka'miya, Josiah and Triston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Howard Harris Funeral Services - Lawton (1005 SW C Ave, Lawton, OK 73501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (902 SW Lee Blvd, Lawton, OK 73501).
