He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Virginia (Biles) and Harold Oscar Ahlschlager; his wife Jacqueline Marie Ahlschlager (Jackie); his brother Ricky Ahlschlager; and his sister-in-law Shirley Ahlschlager.

He is survived by: his daughter Kari; his son-in-law Dusty McCuiston; his granddaughter Sydney Kimberlin Wells; his great grandchild Noah Brooks Wells; his brother Derald Ahlschlager; his siblings-in-law, Dawn, Angelo Rinaldi, Kristin, Matt Burton and Bobby Spradlin (Stona); and his cousins, Kay Weast (Wesley) and Virginia Flaming (Jay). He is also survived by three great nieces; a great nephew.
