He was predeceased by: his parents, Santiago R. and Andrea Garza, Sr. (Rodriquez); his wife Gerda Elizabeth Klauder; his children, Armando Garza, Dolores Hubbard and Belinda Suson; his grandson Orlando Garza; his great grandchild Shaedyn Holmes; and his siblings, Lupe, Blas, Freddy Garza, Mary and Jenny.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Sanchez (Israel), Aurora Garza and Abram Garza; his children, Santiago "Jim" Garza, III (Jerrilyn), Danny Garza (Angie), Gary Garza (Annette), Yolanda Wade, Gerda Cox (Ed) and Melinda Garza; and his children-in-law, Kim Garza, Bill Hubbard and Carrie Garza. He is also survived by 44 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
