With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Paul Fremin Jr. (Lawton, Oklahoma), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on September 5, 2018 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jeff Fremin; and his stepson Tim Helm. He is survived by: his former wife Elaine Chlapowski; his wife Opal; his daughters-in-law, David Fremin, Mary Fremin, Charles Fremin, Robin Fremin, Joseph Fremin, Stephanie Fremin, Patrick Fremin and Angela Fremin; his stepson Brent Helm; his children-in-law, Shanna Helm, Lynette Hall, Michelle Benke, Andy Benke, Theresa Huber, Tom Huber, Teresa Wilton, Vincent Wilton, Kris Colston and Jeff Colston; and also, Thomas Fremin, Ilka Fremin, John Fremin, Waynna Fremin, Woody Scott, Marianna McGerw, Mike McGerw, Denise Smith and Brian Smith. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
