She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Luther and Sarah Elizabeth Pridgen (Harris); and her siblings, Sue Pridgen Hill, Julian Pridgen, James Pridgen and David Pridgen.

She is survived by: her children, Bobby (Debbie McLean), Bill (Michelle McLean), Kathy (Larry Hodgin), Ruth and Sandy Parrish of Bainbridge, OH; her siblings, Herbert Duloye Pridgen of Kinston, NC and Alice; and her brother-in-law Bobby Banks of Grifton, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
