He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Woodrow and Mescal Helen Selby (Rutherford); his wife Carolyn Adiel Johnson; his sister Betty Carrolle Selby-Sandstrom; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Don Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa (Michael Forrest) of Lawton and Lee (Leisa Selby) of Edmond; his grandchildren, Trey Edwards, Walter Edwards Jr., Laina Forrest and Chelsey Schimmels; his great grandchild Kahn Edwards; his nephew Jesse Johnson; and his sister-in-law Cindy Davis.
