He was predeceased by: his parents, Miller Godfrey and Leona Florence Elizabeth Godfrey (Matheson); his wife Johnnie Godfrey; and his sisters, Billie Fondren Wilson and Jurhee Cupp.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Godfrey (Donna) of Broken Arrow, John Godfrey (Angel) of Wabash, Indiana and Shirley Godfrey of Lawton, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Carmen Bunch, Carly Lamb (Justin), Velinda Hellen (Kate), Paige Godfrey, Braxton Godfrey and Katie Fretz (Issac); his great grandchildren, Brittany Brown (J. C.), Skylar Bunch, Summer Bunch and Ayden Lamb; and his great great grandchildren, Ripley Brown, Cooper Martin, Charli Pridgen, Willow Pridgen and Ryder Fretz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
