He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Powell and J. D. Powell; his wife Galena Powell; his sons, Burt Powell and Anthony'Tony'Norvell; his brother John; his sister-in-law Levada Powell; and his grandsons, Jeremy Rose, Mason Stafford and Justus'JD'Powell.
He is survived by: his sister Alice Sampson of Lawton; his son Curt Powell of Lawton; and his grandchildren, Robby, Della, Galena, Dale of Tonya, R. C., Lisa, Josh, Sterling, Bailee and Aaron. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces and nephews, and many other loving family members.
