The memory of Richard Lee Rushing in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 4, 2024 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Rushing and Anita Rushing Rayford; his wife Adelinde "Rose" Rushing; his son Uwe Rushing; his grandson Stefan Rushing; and his sisters, Ann, Doris, Josephine and Mable.

He is survived by: his son John Rushing (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Timothy, Kara McClinsey and Thorsten Rushing; his great grandchild Kathryn McClinsey; his close friend Peggy Grovenstein; and his brothers, A. J. and Paul.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service (6210 NW Cache Rd, Lawton, OK 73505). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
