It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Dale Story (Lawton, Oklahoma), who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mona Rae "Topsy" and Bobby Dale "Bob" Story; his grandson Caleb; and his niece Tera. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Leslie Jo Osborn (Rick) of Oklahoma City, Kelly Wade Story (April) of Holliday, TX and Bobbi Rae Miller (Clay) of Yukon; his stepdaughters, Lindsey Morris and Shelly Horn of Lawton; and his sisters, Robbie Mullins (Gary) of Tecumseh and Terry Adams (Dale) of Ninnekah. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as many extended relatives.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel (1502 NW Fort Sill Blvd, Lawton, OK 73507). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (8900 NW Cache Rd, Lawton, OK 73505).
Rick had been consistently passionate about donating blood for many years and had literally donated numerous gallons of blood in his efforts to help people who needed it.
