She was predeceased by: her husband Ricky Lee Hennen; her parents, Gilbert Sonnichsen and Edna Sonnichsen; and her brothers, William Sonnichsen (Billy), Benny Foster and Fred Hennen.
She is survived by: her children, James Michael Hays, Jr. (Michieal), Cory Allen Hays (Julie) and Rachel Dawn Hays; her siblings, Gilda Goven Charles (Dave), Steven Sonnichsen, Peggy Foster, Judy Hennen and Karen Johnson (Shawn); her grandchildren, Devon Harris, Makaila Porter, Kala Blankenship, Derek Johnsen, Haley Hays, Rylee Hays and Dustie Hays; and her great grandchildren, Quinn, Finn, Elsie Blankenship, Riker Pearce and Alaina Johnsen.
