She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Smith and Chessie E. Smith; her spouse Donnie R. Russell; and her brother Robert L. Smith (Sonny). She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Ray (Stephanie Russell), Randy Don (Ruth Russell), Richard Dean (Francie Russell) and Sherri Lynn; and her son-in-law Brent Sloan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
