She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Whitehead and Blanche Beatrice Whitehead (Davis); her husband Don Nix; and her siblings, Elton Lee Whitehead (Jiggs), Clinton Franklin Whitehead (Slick) and Claudine Odessa Manning (Toosie).
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Mosley (Paul) of Lawton and Amy Midkiff of Lawton; her grandchildren, Hillary Conway, Tyler Nix, Becca Midkiff and Kayden Nix; her great grandchildren, Jared, Kinley, Memphis and Caleb; and her siblings, Roger Whitehead of Bray, Wanda Morrison of Duncan and Linda Peddycoart of Marlow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
