She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richard Tennyson, Sr. and Gladys Labbe Tennyson; her brother James R. "Jimmy" Tennyson, Jr.; and her granddaughter Eden Grace Downing. She is survived by: her children, Kristin (Chad Lassiter), James (Kimberly Downing) and North; her grandchildren, Madison Richard, Zachary Richard, Jordan Cody (Chris), Levi Downing, Grace Downing and Lillian Downing; her great grandchildren, Remi and Ivey Cody; and her sister-in-law Jenny Tennyson. She is also survived by friends, co-workers.
