It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pablo Leyja Jr. of Lawton, Oklahoma, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Leyja Sr. and Maria B. Leyja (Castillo); his sons, Adam Roy Hicks and Galen Dean Hicks; and his siblings, Chris, Freddy, Benny, Joe, Janie Cervantes and Rosa Leyja.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Leyja; his son Gregory; his sisters, Maggie Rea of Frederick and Isabel Ramirez of Frederick; and his grandchildren, Ashlen Hicks, BreAnna Jefferson, Christopher Paul Hicks and Jayden Hicks. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
