It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otha Jean Elkins in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, A. L. Ray and Katherine Ray; her husband Gene Ray Elkins; and her daughter Mary Kathy Elkins. She is survived by: her children, Randy Elkins (Thania), Laura Deaver (Dan) and Carl Elkins (Mary); her grandchildren, Taylor, Spencer, Preston, Andrew and Dee; and her siblings, Lola McCuiston, Paul (Jo Ray), John (Kay Ray), Henry Ray, David (Debbie Ray) and Robert (Linda Ray). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members.

Memorial contributions can be made to Lawton Heights United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
