He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel G. Adams and Bertha L. Adams (Monroe); his wife DiAnn Gage; and his sisters, Jewell Dean Hyder and Dorothy Rush (Jim Rush).
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Wilkerson Adams of Shreveport, Rhonda Manning (John) of Scottsdale, Mark Adams (Sherri) of Sterling, Shellie Harden (Willie) of Lawton and Paula Rocha of Cache; and his brother Harvey Adams of Elgin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
